We know that Earth Day was technically on Wednesday, but doesn't the Earth deserve more than just one day of celebration? I'm glad you agree! This is why we're celebrating all week long and saying "THANK YOU" to our planet, all
that she's given us, and all that she continues to give.
And to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day, we're sharing a list of fun activities that will leave you feeling like you've planted an organic garden after a quick session of yoga with goats. Think sustainable F-U-N.

Lisa Hecht
This Friday, we're giving a shout-out to Lisa Hecht, Philly-based food writer, stylist, and chef-in-training at Walnut Hill College. If you don't know Lisa, you've surely seen her beautiful food photos on our Instagram page and in our newsletter. Lately, she's been busy in her home kitchen creating new dishes which

Lisa was born and raised in Montreal where she developed her love for cooking. Growing up in a multicultural city, her taste for ethnic foods came from exploring the different neighborhood shops and restaurants including French, Moroccan, Indian, Lebanese, and Jewish cuisine. Before coming to Walnut Hill College, Lisa studied Fine Arts and says that cooking for her is just as creative a process as making art. Instead of being in the studio, she
now spends more time in the kitchen experimenting with different recipes and photographing the results. After graduating she hopes to work in food media and to do recipe development and food styling.
